Dr. Adlakha grew up in Ontario, Canada. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences at University of Waterloo in Ontario, she moved to Des Moines, Iowa where she went to Medical School at Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Affinity Medical Center in Ohio where she served as the chief surgery resident. Following this, she completed a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania.

She is well trained in the field of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, as well as Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, Hand Surgery and Burn Surgery. While she enjoys all these facets of Plastic Surgery, her true passion lies in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures of the face, breast, and body. These procedures include (but are not limited to): face lift, neck lift, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy-tuck, “mommy-makeover surgery,” liposuction, fat grafting/transfer; and injectables such as botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, Sculptra and Kybella.
